I love all The Beatles, but I have a special love for the baby of the bunch. I also really love his style--especially in the late 60's-early 70's end of the Beatles/Concert for Bangladesh years; you get the bad-ass hippie beard, heart sunglasses, black fur coats, giant hats, and the all-important Texas tux. And you can't forget his ultimate accessory and arm candy: his gorgeous wife, the model Patti Boyd. George would have been 68 this week.

Oh, this makes me sad...but then I'm fine again. Time does pass (as George would write) and things do get better.
But geez. These pictures were what I lived with my boys—uh—I mean, the Beatles. But they felt like mine!
Good for you to take a liking to something from so far away and long ago. Much of what has been is still a very good thing.
