How perfect would it be to have no hair to worry about? I like the idea if coming out of hiding from behind a helmet of hair, and I never want to feel like a certain haircut is "me," since the "me" that I am--that we all are-- has nothing to do with an outward image, it is just fun. I want to be always 110% okay with change form minute to minute, hair included--and I'd also like it if said changes came without tears of loss.
I ritualistically cut my hair every couple of years because I get really afraid of getting attached to it, or to any one style, but the last time was when I did the '72 Keith Richards a few years ago as seen here. But that was only a bit above shoulder-length. I haven't cut it all the way off since age 8 or 9 (as seen here), so I'm feeling like it's due time. I have a few shoots coming up where I need to show up with my long hair, but maybe after its over with I might be ready for a chop. And I feel like the re-growth period could be really fun too.
