Here's a video of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young performing "Almost Cut My Hair" -- Crosby is pretty fucking bad ass, AND he is the father of Melissa Etheridge's child, which is on a whole other level of amazingness. When I first heard this song when I was as kid, I thought it was Freddie Mercury singing; a pretty high standard in my book. I think this is a song a bunch of hippies might happen to listen to after they smoked a huge joint and started thinking about how awesome their overall hippie-ness is; you can get really philosophical about your hair in those kinds of situations.
