I'm currently home for the holiday's, and thankful to be here with so many of the people I love. Tonight I'm going out with friends I've known since junior high--definitely one of the best perks about going home for the holidays. Since my parents passed away, the holidays can sometimes be a bazaar and hollow time for me; in the past I've compared it to Twilight Zone meets Miracle on 34th Street with a little Home Alone in there somewhere. I'm really thankful to have so many wonderful friends that have become my family over the years and invited me into their homes, and given me so much love, and even though Thanksgiving might not be the same without my family, it's become something new that I've started to look forward to every year.
