My Lost-Boy Lego dreams have finally been answered when I discovered shipping container homes. You can buy the 8'x40' steel containers for around $3,000 each, and let out your old imagination to modify, bedazzle, and stack them to suit even the most discerning hearts desire--or can opt for a bunch of pre-assembled units for a variety of costs--and you can do it fast; they take about four days to build for a basic unit. They also eliminate the typical home annoyances of mold and termites, and they are pretty much indestructible (and not to mention, sustainable). I'm doing it.
