Finally [what looks like] a super rad rock and roll flick with girls in the lead roles (and aren't groupies either). Looks hot to me.
Of course The Runaways were what I would call a groundbreaking act for the time. The group was started in 1975 by Joan Jett and Sandy West, and acquired a 16 year old lead guitarist in '76, and broke up after only four years--you can only imagine the wild ride those kids went on! It's about time they made a good movie about it (and slipped in a little girl on girl kissing action, or so I hear--and I can't wait for that either).
