Aaron was originally going to make this set into a stop motion video similar to the last one, but of course we didn't have time, but I did have a lot of fun taking these with him. We took these at midnight after arriving home from a long trip, I had no makeup on, he just said "put on red lipstick and lets do this," he knows I can never say no to enthusiasm. The hair is by stylist John Ruggiero--leftover from the shoot I did with Becka in Hollywood last weekend. Neither of us wanted to take these candy colored extensions out, and luckily my stylist was able to give me some pink ones to make up for the sad loss of the ones pictured above. It reminded me of junior high when I used to dye my hair blue, and sometimes green, and pink once--but I don't remember getting the warmest response from the kids at school for my Manic Panic hair, funny how the tide turns when things become trendy--I love it. And really, isn't junior high there to traumatize kids into a little box of conformity anyway? I decided a long time ago that the road most traveled wasn't going to be the life for me. The idea of having a nine to five makes me feel like a cat being forced into bathwater, it'll never happen. I know my mom wanted me to follow the tradition of school, steady job, get married, have kids, blah blah boring etc. etc., but I could never live for the ideals of someone else, even if it is my family. If those things are something you actually want, it would be a whole different story, but they're just not for me. Like Hunter said, "I wouldn't recommend sex, drugs or insanity for everyone, but they've always worked for me."
