Meet the Kind Hearted Woman Kimono; it looks like the perfect vintage piece, but it happens to be from the new American Gold collection "The Awakening" that could have been pulled straight out of the 1970 movie Performance. The collection is designed by my dear friend Suzanne Ford Carafano who you know and love from her boutique Spanish Moss Vintage. Support independent creative-types!

I love flag-print anything. You'd think I was really patriotic or something, sorry to disappoint (or not) but really I'm just in it for all the and stripes. This blouse is another gem that UNIF Clothing sent me, I just love them--I also love Bret Michaels status do-rags.

I wanted to post some photos from this shoot we did last time in New York with makeup, hair and styling by Nico Guilis (at See Managment) and photos by A.G. I love when Nico does my makeup, there's lots of clapping and squeals of joy, and she works quick with a steady hand--a good thing for the squirmers and flintchy out there (me).

Since this UNIF tee arrived I haven't really taken it off. Same thing happened with their dream dress. UNIF quickly became one of my all time favorite brands; I'm obsessed with the fabrics and materials they use, and the hand-made touches on each peace. I'm also deeply in love with their studded leather biker jacket is a perfect year-round basic with a Sunset-Strip twist. Wearing the Hail tee thanks to UNIF and Christeric. Denim tuxedo jacket thanks to Lou Doillon for Lee Cooper, and my old hat and scarf and Levis.
Check out my babe-a-licious (and newly fiery red-headed) soul sister Ashley Glorioso rocking out her customized version of the tee I designed for Wiloh Ecosocial (click here to see the rest of the shoot on her blog Purse 'n Boots).

When the world slips you a Jeffrey, stroke the furry wall, or your furry YSL Homme boots. I've been getting Russell Brand style-comparisons for years now (see this post), most gals would cringe, it's quite the opposite for me though, I would pillage that mans closet in a heartbeat. And after reading his Booky Wooks, I found we also happen to share general irreverence, a nasty sense of humor, plus a lot of flashy mens footwear and skinny jeans.
